    Morgan McKinley is proud to be partnering with a key client in the logistics and distribution sector to recruit an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader to join a dynamic and fast-paced operation, supporting the smooth and efficient running of a busy distribution centre.

    The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing daily warehouse activities, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring operational targets are consistently achieved in line with business goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Team Leadership – Supervise, motivate, and develop warehouse operatives, driving performance and maintaining a strong team culture.
    • Operational Excellence – Manage daily workflows across receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
    • Health & Safety – Ensure full compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and site regulations while promoting a safe working environment.
    • Performance Management – Monitor key KPIs including order accuracy, pick rates, and on-time dispatch, taking proactive action where needed.
    • Training & Development – Support on-the-job training, ensuring competency and enabling staff progression within the team.
    • Inventory Control – Maintain stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and assist with stock takes and cycle counts.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with management, transport, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
    • Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • 3+ years’ supervisory experience in warehousing or logistics, ideally within a high-volume distribution environment.
    • Strong leadership and people management skills with a hands-on approach.
    • Proven knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and health & safety standards.
    • Ability to analyse and act on operational data and KPIs.
    • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Competent in WMS and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Forklift license is desirable but not essential.
