    Morgan McKinley is proud to be partnering with a key client to support the recruitment of a Logistics Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organisation where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of their supply chain and logistics function.

    You will act as the central point of contact between suppliers, 3PL warehouses, hauliers, and customers – ensuring accurate documentation, timely deliveries, compliance with customs requirements, and optimal stock availability.

    This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be on site every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

    Key Responsibilities

    Transport Coordination

    • Liaise with hauliers to arrange collections and deliveries.
    • Track shipments and proactively update internal systems with delivery status.
    • Investigate and resolve delivery issues including delays, refusals, and damages.
    • Monitor and help optimise transport costs.

    Order Processing & Customer Service

    • Process and manage customer orders from entry through to delivery.
    • Respond to delivery queries and issues while building strong customer relationships.

    3PL Warehouse Management

    • Act as the primary point of contact for the 3PL partner.
    • Monitor inbound and outbound stock movements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Resolve warehouse issues such as damages, shortages, or mis-picks.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and carry out reconciliations as required.

    Customs & Compliance

    • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs agents to provide documentation.
    • Verify all paperwork is complete and compliant with trade regulations and customer requirements.

    Key Skills & Attributes

    • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Proficient in MS Excel and confident working with data.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
    • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • 3+ years’ experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations role.
    • Relevant third-level qualification.
