Data & Reporting Engineer

    Salary: €70,000 – €110,000

    We are looking for expereinced candidates who have a strong background in developing and communicating key insights and metrics through Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as proficiency with controlling data admin and source-data interaction through PowerApps. The ideal candidates should have experience with gathering requirements from key stakeholders and communicating insights to a range of audiences – from operational teams to senior leadership.

    Skills required:

    • Technical
      • 6+ years Data & Reporting/Business Intelligence experience, preferably within a large enterprise/technology function.
      • Hands-on experience in developing reports in Power BI (or equivalent, e.g. Tableau) – handling multiple data sources (SQL, SharePoint, etc.), creating visualisations, data modelling and understanding relationships between data.
      • Strong SQL experience, Azure SQL preferrable – strong emphasis on data transformation and analysis for use in reporting.
      • Experience with developing PowerApps for data management and data update control – security/role driven behaviour of PowerApps (permitting access, hiding navigation), implementing constraints and permitted values, etc.
      • Familiarity with ETL tools (SnapLogic preferred, experience with ADF/SSIS acceptable)
      • Experience with CI/CD and version control through Azure DevOps/Git
    • Non-Technical
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to accuracy.
      • Strong stakeholder-management across varying levels of seniority and technical background.
      • Ability to work in an agile environment.
      • Ability to adapt to changing scope and data requirements.
    • Nice to Have
      • Familiarity with identity access management (IAM), cybersecurity.
      • Exposure to data governance or compliance reporting.
      • Familiarity with role-based access control (RBAC) through security groups
