Our client is a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor with a proven track record of delivering prestigious projects across Ireland. With a strong pipeline of high-profile work, they are now seeking an experienced Construction Planner / Scheduler to join their Cork-based team and play a key role in the successful delivery of two marquee commercial and restoration projects in Cork City.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using industry-standard software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6).
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with design, commercial, and site teams to ensure programme accuracy.
- Report regularly to senior management on project status and performance.
- Contribute to planning input during tender and pre-construction stages.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a planning or scheduling role within a construction or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
