Electrical Engineer

    Salary: €55,000 – €70,000 per year

    We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Consultant to join a dynamic engineering team and support the delivery of a major Process Area CAPEX project, alongside smaller projects and day-to-day site operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer with strong technical expertise in electrical systems design, installation, and compliance within a regulated environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and maintenance of LV systems (Lighting, General Services, UPS, Arc Flash protection settings) and ELV systems (Fire Alarm, Data, Building Automation).
    • Manage and deliver small projects related to electrical infrastructure.
    • Support design reviews, installation, and site acceptance testing of electrical equipment.
    • Prepare, update, and maintain electrical drawings and documentation.
    • Specify and design cGMP-compliant E&I equipment and process controls.
    • Oversee and manage electrical systems operating on business IT networks.
    • Support the validation team with design documents and protocol execution.
    • Investigate equipment and control system issues, including power quality events.
    • Prepare engineering evaluations, execute modifications, and manage change control documentation.
    • Supervise electrical contractors, ensuring work meets required standards.
    • Develop risk assessments, method statements, and maintain strong health & safety practices on site.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations, upholding company standards and reputation.

    Skills & Experience Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
    • 4+ years’ experience in electrical engineering, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industries.
    • Strong knowledge of LV/ELV design, installation, and maintenance.
    • Familiarity with cGMP standards and working in compliance-driven environments.
    • Proven ability to manage contractors and small-scale electrical projects.
    • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
