Key Responsibilities
Team & Project Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of up to six engineers, delivering large-scale process skid projects or multiple smaller systems concurrently.
- Take overall responsibility for successful project delivery, including schedule, cost, and quality performance.
- Coordinate across process, mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines.
- Manage and support the drafting team to ensure delivery of high-quality drawings.
- Handle material and subcontractor procurement and coordination.
- Support system commissioning and ensure smooth project handover documentation.
- Promote and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Quality policies.
Customer & Commercial Management
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships through proactive and responsive communication.
- Contribute to commercial activities such as contract management, pricing, and quotation preparation.
People Development
- Foster collaboration within project teams and lead by example to achieve successful outcomes.
- Support the development and mentoring of graduate and junior engineers.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, listening, and leadership skills.
Experience, Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- 10+ years of process engineering experience in biotechnology, beverage/brewery, or dairy industries.
- Proven experience in the design, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning of process equipment such as CIP systems, chromatography units, filtration skids, or equivalent.
