Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and coordinate daily warehouse operations
- Be actively involved in day-to-day warehouse tasks – this is a hands-on role
- Organise and maintain stock across multiple warehouse areas
- Ensure accuracy in goods-in, goods-out, and order picking
- Allocate workloads and manage staffing levels for maximum efficiency
- Run daily team stand-up meetings to align on goals and address blockers
- Maintain and report on KPIs
- Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner
- Train, motivate, and support team members to ensure high performance
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and safety
- Communicate with other departments and occasionally interface with customers
Requirements
- Proven experience leading a team in a warehouse or logistics environment (essential)
- Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Truck Licences (essential)
- Comfortable in a hands-on role involving physical warehouse duties
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick decisions
- Experience using warehouse systems or KPIs is an advantage
