About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join a well established team for an initial 12 month contract. This role will play a key role contributing to innovative projects in the Medical Device industry. The ideal candidate will be a creative and detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced ever changing environment and enjoys solving complex design challenges.
Required:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a design role.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and plan work.
The Role:
- Work with manufacturing and production to establish design requirements.
- Developing tool design that will support robust and efficient repair processes.
- Complete detailed designs using CAD software.
- Develop part and fixture 3D models
- Develop and maintain documentation related to all creations.
- Conduct engineering analysis, simulations, and prototyping.
- Provide technical support throughout the design lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Ensure all designs meet quality, cost, and performance requirements.
