A leading global healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Transformation to drive digital transformation, optimize planning systems, and enhance end-to-end supply chain performance.
Role Purpose
This role leads business transformation through the deployment of advanced planning tools (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro, SAP S/4HANA) and the integration of AI-driven automation. The Director will strengthen the SI&OP process, develop a Supply Chain Centre of Excellence, and ensure sustained adoption of digital planning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Transformation & System Enablement
- Lead deployment and optimization of advanced planning systems to align technology with business needs.
- Act as primary liaison between supply chain, technology, and commercial teams.
- Drive data integration, analytics, and closed-loop planning performance.
- Collaborate with data governance to ensure SI&OP and planning strategies align with system capabilities.
- Integrate AI and automation into planning workflows.
AI & Process Automation
- Identify automation opportunities and build phased implementation roadmaps.
- Deploy scalable automation tools using enterprise AI platforms.
- Develop internal AI capabilities and foster a culture of innovation.
- Track automation performance through defined KPIs.
COE Leadership
- Lead and develop the Supply Chain Centre of Excellence team.
- Strengthen expertise in digital planning systems and support user adoption.
- Oversee training, change management, and best-practice standardization.
Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP)
- Lead the monthly SI&OP cycle, including supply review, risk assessment, and contingency planning.
- Align supply plans with financial forecasts.
- Drive integrated planning across supply, commercial, finance, and external partners.
- Standardize tools, templates, and processes to enhance planning effectiveness.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and monitor key planning and forecasting metrics.
- Lead initiatives to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and system utilization.
- Maintain SOPs, documentation, and change-management materials.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years in leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field.
- Preferred: APICS/ISM certifications, Lean/Six Sigma.
- Strong expertise in advanced planning systems and AI-driven supply chain transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, project leadership, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of commercial and operations planning processes.
